Young Drivers and Women Drivers Rally 

 Sat. 4th September at 1pm for field tests followed by the rally.
An easy drive, no shingle, no timed section to the Sparks Colonial Museum. Rangiora.
Entry fee of $20 per person includes entry to the museum followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea on site at the museum/Rossburn Receptions.
A prize will be given for the best hat and handbag combination (optional).
Please get your young relatives and friends to enter our Under 25s event.  All they need is a club eligible vehicle which is now anything 1990 and older!!   A navigator would be helpful too.  Maybe Grandad and Grandson could swap seats for the day!

Annual Veteran Rally 2021
        Sunday 26th September



9.30 to 10.00am assemble at the Darfield Recreation Centre, North Terrace, Darfield for morning tea (supplied).

10.00am Pre start briefing begins.  Two routes, 15km approx. for slower vehicles, 30kms for faster vehicles’

Finish destination Racecourse Hill Homestead SH73, 6km west of Darfield in time for lunch (BYO).

Concours judging and Field Tests will be held in the afternoon.  Vehicles will be on display at the Homestead open day.

On the third sunday of the month we invite all members and any interested members of the public to join us at Cutler Park from 9am-11am for coffee and a catch-up. Turn up in your club eligible vehicle and meet other club members - if enough interest is shown we might head out for a run. Partners and children encourage to join in but please no dogs.

10.30 start at club members Roy and Shirley Grainger's residence at 94 Sabys Road, Halswell.

Allow time to view the car collection.

Lunch stop at a lovely country domain west of the start. (Toilets and shelter available if weather inclement). 

After lunch a short drive to view a small museum with an interesting large range of eclectic items on display.

Drive to the finish at NZ Machinery Club's grounds, McLeans island Road.  (Large display building housing various machinery items from the past and a Ladies memorabilia room to view.  Also view a new building housing MV Tuhoe salvaged items and a collection of rare engines.)  (Toilet and shelter available.)  Afternoon Tea will be provided at this venue followed by Prize giving and Trophy presentation to lucky winners.

Estimated rally distance approximately 60 miles.  Field tests will be undertaken during the Rally.  Get  your entry in now.

The Girder Fork Motorcycle Rally


The Girder Rally is for bikes pre 1945 or fitted with Girder Forks. Back up available. This years lunch stop is at Duvauchelle Hotel. The lunch must be paid for prior to the day. Indicate numbers for lunch on the entry form. The evening will be based around the Grand Hotel as usual, accommodation up to the individual. Sunday breakfast can be ordered from the Grand Hotel usually if required on arrival but plenty of local cafes around. Sunday stop and prize giving is at the Tai Tapu Hotel before heading home.
Start –The start place will change this year probably. It will be advertised via email and in October's Hub.

Show Weekend Tour 2021

Our annual Show Weekend Tour is a long run Canterbury Tradition - if you haven't join us before it would be great to see you come away with us for a tour to sunny Nelson
Plan ahead and book accommodation for the above dates in the Nelson/Richmond area.

You can choose to return on Sunday but we will organise a

Motorcycle Annual Rally

Saturday 20th November

Meet at Motorcycle Corner Cutler Park at      9.30am for a 10.00am start.
Backup will be provided for both routes.
There is an interesting lunchtime venue at Balcairn with a good collection of motorcycles to view. 
The evening function will be at Motorcycle Corner from 5pm with a prizegiving during the evening.
