SPARE PARTS SHED The Spare Parts crews extend a cordial invitation to all visitors to visit the largest parts shed in Australasia. Our parts sheds house the largest collection of spares in Australasia and is the envy of many overseas clubs. Come and see the new extensions that have now been completed. The spare parts is a service that the Canterbury Branch offers to all interested in the restoration of veteran, vintage, and vehicles through to the late ‘60s. We are open every third and fourth Sunday from 9am to 12 noon and every Wednesdy from 12.30pm to 4pm. During Swap Meet we will be open from 9am to 4pm Friday Members’ Only Day and Saturday, and 10am to 3.30pm Sunday. The Spare Parts shed is maintained by two small bands of enthusiasts who quietly beaver away during normal opening times. However, we would be pleased to have the services of more members on Sunday mornings. Members are also welcome to the Wednesday afternoons - these sessions are a little more socially orientated. Even the odd half-hour makes a big contribution and is greatly appreciated. Reward? The enjoyment of the friendship of kindred spirits, and at the same time, helping, in a practical way our Branch. Our range of stock is extensive, ranging from screws to complete vehicles, even trucks and vans. We would like to build upthe motor cycle spares, so we would appreciate motor cycles and spares. We would like to thank the many stall holders, commercial houses, automotive firms, members and non-members alike who over the years have made generous donations of spares. Your donation may be the very part that someone else would much appreciate. So, THANK YOU one and all. Where are we? We are housed near the trees on the southern boundary in the large corrugated building down past the administration hall and the big curved tunnel barn. So come and see us. Our friendly staff are there to help you. However, be warned, for on your first visit you will be overwhelmed by the number, the range and the variety of parts, so allow time to make two, three or more calls. The Spare Parts Beavers |
